Sibling Playtime

One of my favourite things to do is watch these two play. The older they get, the better they are at playing on their own and with each other.

Nicolas is obsessed with markers right now. He carries them around all day long and makes the most adorable face as he uses his whole strength to try and press them together. Isabelle is all about pretend play. She loves playing house with her entire collection of stuffed animals and dolls.

And together they love cooking in their play kitchen. It’s so sweet how Isabelle teaches him - she’s patient, understanding, praises him when he’s able to do what she’s shown him.

There are so many hard moments about parenting two young children but these moments? They’re what make it all worth it.
